Tucson was sweet. The weather was actually nice. We played at 36 Chambers which is a nicer place than I experienced in my two year tenure living there. (Besides the almighty Solar Culture.) We played with No Bunny and a decent reproduction of the early Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Last minute show in San Diego at Gelato Vero Café. It was quite amazing. We played with Iji, a super pop band from Phoenix and Vision of a Dying World, humbled by both. Aubrey got underwear thrown at her which we kept in the drum kit for the entire tour. Mike Bova.

The Smell, in LA, usually a highlight was a bit disappointing. Just about everyone left after the local bands which was fine with me. This was our highest paying show, I believe. We stayed at Dean and Randy’s.

Another amazing last minute miracle in Napa, California, at a beauty salon. With Swims and an awesome hardcore band called the Grand Color Crayon. Pure heart and sweet riffs. Paul from Swims provided amazing hospitality. He owns a De Lorean.

Day off to Portland. Milo offered his home. Hawthorne Street.

In Seattle, we played the Sunset Tavern with Snakebites, Crown Aruba and another band. It was awesome. I got very drunk off many free beers. We stayed at Curtis’ house and woke up his roommate. We also met Jimmy Flame.

Bellingham was at the Fantasia Coffee shop. Before the show, we went to Ben and McKenzie’s house, which they had been squatting until the owner of the house came home while they were sleeping. She said they could stay if they fixed it up. Ash talked to her at length. She’s from Argentina and was a guerilla there. We played with Narrows and Brainhole. Narrows were one of the highlights of tour and Brainhole is a good band name. We stayed at Georgia’s house. Most of our crew went out after the show. I internetted, read Coin Locker Babies and went to bed.

Olympia. Somewhat underattended show at the Voyeur. We met some fantastic humans. We stayed with Owen’s sister, Jasper, where we ate the most amazing food and Hesper got very intoxicated. Tempers flared and drama exploded despite the long respite of bachi ball. Has to happen once a tour, in my experience, however short and swell going.

Fantastic show in Portland at the Know with We Quit and Bird Costumes. Well attended and very fun. Pretty good for a hipster bar. We left right after the show, saying bye to our temporary roadie, Dan and a lot of good friends.

House show in Bakersfield. It was hot and fun. The local bands were super good. I don’t care what anyone says, Bako is one of my favorites. We stayed at Andrew’s and Malani’s. Andrew really likes Bored To Death.

Coffee shop show in Las Vegas that went super well. Everyone danced. Meat Over Moscow and Back On Speed opened, and I thought both were amazing for existing in the worst city in America and probably the world. Still, as of last December, I love playing there for some reason.

Homecoming show at Pedro's house with Dan Deacon and Esctatic Sunshine from Baltimore. Couldn't have been sweatier or better. Awesome.
